We're looking for a video producer to join our Explosive Alan Team in London

Explosive Alan Productions is a London-based creative video studio, who specialise in creating playful and memorable social content for major global brands, with a primary focus on gaming brands. Our clients include PlayStation, Nintendo, Epic, Square Enix, Creative Assembly, LEGO, Red Bull and many more. We are located in Southwark, London and our parent company Fourth Floor has offices in Bristol, Stockholm and Toronto.

As well as creating original social content we work with content creators to produce amazing branded video, experiences, events and merchandise that get millions of views on YouTube, Twitch, Instagram and elsewhere.

ABOUT YOU

You will be a self-starter with a proven track record of editing, capturing and gathering assets and problem solving. Ideally you would have a love of gaming and be confident capturing game content via OBS (Streaming knowledge also beneficial)

You love working across lots of different types of content including trailers, branded content, social video and some live. You would also consume a lot of web culture with a focus on YouTube, TikTok and Twitch and understand what’s happening in video games and entertainment.

This is a full time position, remote working or hybrid working is an option for the right candidate.

THE ROLE

You will be working with the production team, helping to deliver client content, company showreels and social media video and some internal comms pieces. While your primary focus will be on post-production we encourage everyone to have a voice for getting ideas off the ground. You’ll also be needed for on-set technical support, setting up capture and gaming hardware.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Post-production on company-produced video content.
Game capture for projects.
Creation of social/promo content for company channels.
Live streaming (OBS) setup and production.
Assisting with filming and other onset technical support for productions.
Assisting project coordinator with pre-production planning.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years working in a similar role.

Good understanding of, and a passion for gaming.

Ability to work under pressure and across multiple editing disciplines.

Software knowledge including:

  • Adobe Premiere (Must)
  • OBS (Must)
  • Excel/Sheets & Other Google Docs (Good working knowledge)
  • Photoshop (Basic working knowledge)
  • After Effects (Nice to have)
  • Audition (Nice to have)

Hardware knowledge including:

  • Setup & Management of capture hardware/PC
  • PC/Console gaming setups
  • Camera equipment (Nice to have)
