Job purpose

To support the Food Safety and Quality systems across company sites

Duties and Responsibilities

• To ensure the HACCP/Quality Systems are correctly implemented, monitored, and controlled
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, managing external agencies and ensuring product safety and security
• Ensuring all audits are carried out to the required standard e.g.,Group Supplier Audit or accreditation standard and audit preparation
• Generating and issuing required reports
• Day to day management of the quality management system
• To ensure compliance to relevant legislation, GMP and hygiene standards
• To ensure internal and external audits are carried out in a timely manner
• Ensure raw material, process control and finished product specifications are up to date in conjunction with the group quality team

The Candidate:

• Knowledge of HACCP, food safety and food hygiene
• Previous experience with a quality environment and running both internal and external audits
• Previous experience in a production environment
• Experience of dealing with suppliers and customers, generating, agreeing, and implementing specifications
• Experience managing a team
