Job Description

We’re looking for a Facilities Manager to join our North West Schools Contract based in Oldham. Within this role, you can enjoy 26 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Private Healthcare, Private Dental care and even more.


Location: Oldham - Radclyffe School

Contract: Full Time – flexible shift pattern available if desired, just let us know

Hours: Monday to Friday. 8am-4pm


Responsibilities

As a Facilities Manager, you’ll be working within the PFI Team supporting them in managing the facilities at the School.

Your day to day will include:

  • To ensure the effective delivery of both the Hard and Soft Facility Management Services in accordance with the PFI Contract.
  • Responsible for delivering, managing and ensuring contract compliance with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance requirements.
  • Management of Facilities operatives across the site

  • To deliver effective day to day management and liaison with construction/contractor/supplier teams at the site to identify and resolve any operational issues that may affect and impact on the education process and plan appropriate actions in conjunction with the client and the SLT to prevent disruption
  • Manage and monitor site activities and physical progress of work for site safety, quality and environmental responsibilities.
  • Ensuring all projects and works run to deadline and budget.

What are we looking for?

This role of Facilities Manager is great for you if:

  • You have previous Facilities Management experience within an Educational setting

  • You have worked on a PFI contract previously

  • Experience in managing pre-planned maintenance processes along with any reactive requirements

  • Experience of training, developing and coaching people within service teams
