SFCA Teaching Salary Scale, currently £28,125 - £44,256 per annum

Wyke is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher to join this experienced and committed department to make a difference to the lives of our students. The successful candidate will:

• be keen to embrace our culture of high standards and commitment to development
• be a well-qualified teacher, skilled in delivering engaging lessons that draw the best performance from students.
• have the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues and understand the factors that lead to high levels of student achievement.
• Teach on the BTEC Dance course which combines students from across the Extended Certificate Dance and Performing Arts, Diploma in Dance & Acting and the Extended Diploma in Performing Arts courses.
• Be flexible and willing to possibly teach across the A Level Dance course (depending on specialisms and experience)
• In Dance. be keen to contribute to additional extracurricular activities that are required within the department such as showcases and rehearsals
• Teach on the OCR CTEC Sport programmes which include the Extended Certificate, Diploma and Extended Diploma variations, contributing to the high quality of teaching and learning and also the exceptional levels of support currently on offer.
• In Sport, contribute to extra-curricular and enrichment activities which will include ownership of a sports team (will be matched to the successful applicant’s strengths if possible) which involves delivering training sessions and attending weekly fixtures.
• Be flexible and willing to possibly teach across the A-Level PE programme (depending on specialisms and experience)
