Working with our best in class technology teams in Manchester you will be part of the full lifecycle: designing, building and running one of our products. You'll help us to power the revolution through developer-centric services. Defining and coaching your team on testing and quality, you will be empowered to balance quality and speed. As a team, you will have the freedom to define how we deliver quality applications as you engage with users, gather insights through our observability tools and enhance our CI/CD pipelines.


You'll learn and grow along the way, and we'll give you the tools, tactics and career progression to be successful in our DevSecOps environment.


You will:

  • Work with our best in class technology teams to own solutions all the way from requirements, through coding, testing and deployment to the hands of our customers in production.
  • Define and coach your team on testing and quality, you will be empowered to balance quality and speed.
  • Have the freedom to define how we deliver quality applications as you engage with users, gather insights through our observability tools and enhance our CI/CD pipelines.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices and standards.
  • Learn and grow along the way, and we will give you the tools, tactics and career progression to be successful in our DevSecOps environment.


WHAT YOU WILL NEED

We welcome applications from anyone with:

  • A passion for mentoring and technical coaching
  • Experience with a range of testing types such Performance, Security or Accessibility
  • Experience with a variety of automated quality tooling such as RestAssured, Cypress, Postman or K6
  • Extensive experience with modern CI/CD tools and techniques
  • Working knowledge and experience of event-driven microservice architectures, RESTful APIs and message queues


If you’ve got any of the following as well then we’ll really be impressed:

  • Worked in a true DevOps culture with experience and understanding of both the technical and cultural aspects
  • Quality focused with knowledge of different kinds of automated testing and what makes great code
  • Built bespoke enterprise grade cloud-native applications, knowledge and experience of event-driven microservice architectures and APIs
  • Familiarity with our core tech stack – Java, Go, React, SQL, MongoDB, Kubernetes
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Tempo)
