Job Summary/Profile
We’re looking for a motivated, collaborative and well-connected PR Manager to join our growing team, with a desire to challenge and be challenged. You’ll currently be at Account Manager level (or ready for promotion from SAE level) within a PR agency, and have a blend of consumer and corporate experience. This is a business where you will have an influential part to play, and not just be another team member.
You’ll be used to working closely with founders or founding team members of fast-growth startups, and be working across our portfolio of accounts. These include everything from AI retail software to a personal training platform to meat alternatives and fruit juice.
Day-to-day you’ll be confident speaking to journalists, writing captivating content and developing bold, creative news angles, stories and pitches. You'll have a strong black book of contacts to hit the ground running and know how to lead from the front and manage expectations. You’ll be targeting media titles across national, business, lifestyle and trade publications and be media savvy, aware of the latest trends and what’s being talked about in the papers.
You’re someone who is passionate about the clients you represent, understands every nuance of their brand and can articulate it into an engaging story. A natural storyteller, you’ll love pitching your clients to the media, and always be thinking up new creative ways to make headlines.
In this role, you will be supported by the senior leadership team and report into the PR & Comms Director, all with decades-long experience in brand, PR and digital marketing. As a team, we develop highly engaging media strategies and campaigns for clients, build effective processes and ensure you have the tools that you need for success.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone hand on and ambitious, looking for a new challenge and wanting to learn more (beyond your average PR agency). You will be the number 5 in the growing team and will play an active part in the agency, gaining exposure to all aspects of the business – from new business to building our employer brand - in a way that would not be possible at a bigger agency.

About Us
Part agency, part consultancy, part co-operative, BRICK breaks the mould when it comes to the typical tired and inflexible agency model. We’re not a PR agency, rather a marketing partner, with a PR offering.
Instead we are partners with our clients, using our expertise in business and marketing to propel brands forward in new, exciting and creative ways - with the agility and energy of a start-up.
Founded in 2017, we repeatedly build exceptional brand equity and exceed our clients' attraction, conversion, and retention targets. For our team, there is an opportunity to be involved in the company at a crucial growth stage, to help build its future and to develop into leadership positions as we scale.
Our goal for our team is clear: to give you the space to do what you love and what you are good at, amongst a team of equally talented and passionate people.
