Preconstruction Supervisor

(Locations: Watford / Potters Bar / Cambridge)

Role Overview

The Company is seeking a proactive and experienced Pre-Construction Supervisor to oversee a diverse range of projects involving copper 11kv, twin 33kV, as well as fibre and water up to 400kV, with a primary focus on civils cable route. The projects span across various sites in the UK, including data centres, solar farms, and large battery storage sites, with the furthest north being Leeds and the southernmost point around Heathrow.

Responsibilities

• Planning the project, understanding the route, and assessing its feasibility before initiating work.
• Liaising with councils and third parties, conducting ground tests, engaging with the Environment Agency, and possibly performing land searches.
• Conducting surveys and generating comprehensive reports on each viable route.
• Carry out trial holes and surveys.
• Assisting with final plans, designs, and price refining.
• Contributing to the development of a proposed programme for the routes.
• Supervising until the submission of the full duration and all notices.

Requirements

• Streetworks Supervisor / detailed understanding of Streetworks regulations including Section 50.
• Temporary Works Coordinator / Supervisor qualification is desirable.
• SMSTS / SSSTS certifications would be advantageous.
• Experience with 25m deep excavations.

Salary: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
