We’re currently looking for a dedicated training professional to join our Manufacturing function as a Regional Training Specialist. This role will own the training delivery across all our Manufacturing sites, so knowledge of L&D / Training is essential, knowledge of manufacturing would also be a huge benefit, along with willingness to travel across the UK to our 17 Manufacturing sites. Our sites have between 150 –1500 colleagues and in some sites this can be across a 24/7 operation, so your impact in this role will be huge.
Reporting into the Regional L&D Manager for Manufacturing and Logistics, you will lead, plan and facilitate both technical and behavioural training across the sites to build the capability of colleagues and managers. You will also support the design of quality training solutions that provide great return for investments.
You'll also be responsible for:
Work with sites to improve operational performance
Ensure training outcomes are aligned and evaluation completed
Work with central training teams to design and deliver Leadership Development which prioritise the needs of the business
Work with the Training Advisors to provide consistent training information and data insights
Support the build of training sessions across the network and deliver where necessary
Provide guidance to sites to ensure consistency across the network
Deliver HACCP & Food Safety Advanced Training when needed to upskill our teams
Ensure all training materials are up to date and produced in accordance with internal guidelines
Request external training as and when required (IOSH, Food Safety Advanced etc.)
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the training
Source cost effective materials and services where necessary
Creation and support of talent pathways at sites to develop and engage colleagues
To develop and maintain an accurate contracts register and associated procurement work plans and overseeing spend in excess of 100m per annum on goods, works
