Full Time, 37 hrs per week (4 day condensed hours working week)

We have an opportunity for a maintenance professional to undertake landscape duties to our properties and estates, ensuring communal areas are well-maintained. You’ll be on hand to assist with any relevant repairs and help our customers enjoy their homes and the surrounding areas.

The role:

In this varied role, you will be responsible for the following:

• 
  Strimming, mowing and edging grassed areas to both occupied and empty homes

• Removal of weeds and invasive plants using appropriate treatment

• Trimming hedges, bushes, shrubbery and small trees

• Safe removal of dead, unwanted or infected trees, plants and bushes including stump removal

• Levelling surfaces as necessary with installation of gravel or topsoil and seed.

• Removal of litter and debris from external areas.

• Using pesticide treatment as necessary to treat affected areas.

• Using various power tools including grass cutters, hedge trimmers, strimmer's, stump removal tools.

• Safe and environmentally friendly disposal of green waste.

What do you need to have?

• 
  Previous experience of working within grounds maintenance / landscaping

• NVQ 2/3 – Environmental or Horticultural Qualification or similar qualification. Demonstrable experience considered as alternative.

• Customer Care skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised and on own initiative.

• A valid UK driving licence
