We are looking for an experienced Workshop Foreman in Grantham.

This is for a great customer of ours, a well-respected and well established engineering firm, market leaders in the process of repairing electromechanical equipment (electric motors, gearboxes and pumps).

As part of a fast-paced, busy depot, the Workshop Foreman is responsible for the efficient running of the workshop including maximising the availability of equipment, allocating and monitoring the workload of the fitters, ensuring that all equipment is maintained and kept in working order at all times.

As the Workshop Foreman, you will be responsible for supporting and developing your team to maximise performance whilst ensuring the health and safety of all employees within the depot workshop.

This position can offer you excellent training opportunities with great scope for progression, supporting you throughout your career.

A Workshop Foreman with experience working on electromechanical equipment is what we are ideally looking for.

Also, if you're an experienced fitter who has the desire to grow and is looking to progress into a workshop foreman role this is a great opportunity.

What we’re looking for:

  • Highly organised
  • People Management Skills
  • Experienced engineer with knowledge of electromechanical equipment
  • Previous supervisor experience or someone who wants to step into a supervisor’s role but has had direct industry experience of working in an electro-mechanical repair workshop.
