Job Description

We are hiring for Event Staff / Stewards to work a series of Concerts & Festivals at Hatfield house and events in the surrounding area. For the initial Music Festival & Concerts we have various shifts available between Wednesday 24th of May and Monday 29th May 2023.

We strive to give customers a fantastic experience when entering and leaving the event, whilst also looking after our staff by offering employee benefits such as a bonus scheme and meals whilst working.

We give opportunities to expand skills and help staff grow in any way we can. With a dedicated Management team, we aim to enable you to attend a wide range of festivals and events throughout the year!

You will work in a team led by our experienced Managers and Supervisors.

What makes an Event Steward

Ability to follow instruction and perform roles such as directing drivers to specific areas, parking cars and making sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

Be flexible and capable undertaking different tasks and roles across a variety of different events throughout our summer season- no two shifts are the same.

Ability to stay positive through a multitude of event and shift lengths as well as any weather- rain or shine!

The most successful stewards will come with an open mind, a friendly manner and a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills

1. Be able to follow Supervisors and Managers instructions.

2. Be polite and helpful to all customers.

3. Smart and professional appearance.

4. Ability to work away from home for extended periods which could involve camping.

5. Flexibility to work a variety of shift lengths.

6. Right to Work in the UK.

Preferred Skills

1. Events Experience

2. Full UK Driving License with access or own transport or access to a lift to/from events

Salary & Benefits

Salary is per hour from starting pay of £11.75.

This is a casual / part time position.
