EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Working within our Security team, the Design Engineer will play a key role in the design aspects of project delivery. You will be focusing on improving the electronic and physical security of assets across the Severn Trent estate. The role will involve working on projects through the feasibility, optioneering and design stages, as well as supporting commissioning, witness testing, handover, and project closure.
Your key accountabilities will be:
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
Ideally HNC qualified in a technical engineering discipline and experienced in Electronic or Physical Security design and installation.
You will have strong collaboration and communication skills and a strong ability to build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds.
You will require Security Clearance (SC level) to undertake this role; we will support you with this if required, upon successful appointment to the role. This role will require a full UK driving licence.
Of course, it’s important that we attract the right skill sets, and those with the right experience but we value character, positivity and a caring attitude in equal weight.
