Job Title: Commercial Manager (MEPH)

Location: London

Contract: Permanent, full-time

KME are an internal MEP self-delivery business within the Kier group, supporting the internal regional businesses across the UK and the Strategic Projects business on complex and challenging projects that range from £5m to £140m. The business has a full design, construct and commissioning capability. The business has been operating for over 50 years with a track record for delivering on developing staff, repeat business and successful projects.

Responsibilities

The role will report to the MEP Commercial Director and have the full responsibility for managing all commercial items regarding the MEP Services across multiple London projects delivering to high standards across reporting, risk management, opportunity management, future forecasting, and team management. Also ensuring commercial items are managed and driven throughout projects by the whole MEP Team. This will be carried out through preconstruction, construction, and post construction phases of projects

As a senior team member in this self-delivery business, integration and collaborative working with other Kier Businesses is essential along with supporting, implementing and compliance with Kier's SHE policy and procedures, all legal requirements, Commercial Standards, and Kier Group's best practices.

Who are we looking for?

  • Minimum of HND/BSc in commercial related discipline.
  • Holder of a Full UK Drivers Licence.
  • Ability to maintain relationships with clients, customers and suppliers
  • Team Leader with organisational skills and ability to develop team members.
  • Experienced in delivering projects of MEP value 20 million plus.
  • Experienced in Managing Multiple projects across Preconstruction and Construction phases.
  • Demonstrated experience in management and control of multiple Sub-contractor controlling performance, safety, quality, productivity and programme
  • High level of competence in digital construction methods and tools
