CDP Chef Wanted for Upscale Cafe Bar

We are seeking a skilled and passionate CDP Chef to join our team at an upscale Cafe Bar. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with excellent cooking and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a high standard
• Overseeing and managing a section of the kitchen
• Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
• Monitoring and maintaining quality, consistency, and portion control
• Ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
• Contributing to menu development and food cost control
• Assisting the Head Chef with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CDP or similar role
• Strong cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and a passion for food and cooking

Salary: Up to £24,500.00 per year
