Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a 1099 Wound Care Nurse Practitioner located in Tucson, AZ. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing advanced wound care services, including wound assessments, debridement, ostomy care, and patient education. The role involves developing and implementing personalized care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. The practitioner will also document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and communicate effectively with patients and their families. Flexibility to work in various settings including private residences, nursing homes, and rehab centers is required.

• Perform wound evaluations and ongoing wound care management
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with referring providers
• Perform debridement, compression therapy, and advanced dressing applications
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound care and prevention
• Document visits thoroughly using our secure EMR platform
• Participate in case reviews and clinical quality assurance

Qualifications

• Expertise in Wound Care, Medicine, and Ostomy Care
• Proficient in Nursing practices with a focus on wound management
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and patient education skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
• Experience in home health care settings is a plus
• Master's degree in Nursing and a valid Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona
