Are you an organisation expert and master of multitasking? Talented at administration and skilled in building relationships? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you…
The Governance Officer will play a critical role in ensuring children and young people receive the very best education and care possible.
This is a position for someone who wants to use their considerable administrative skills to make a real difference to the lives of others. The successful applicant will work as part of a dynamic team to provide governance services across our community of schools. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our Central Team and are keen to hear from people with excellent administrative, organisational and interpersonal skills.
This is an exceptional opportunity for either an experienced Governance Professional or someone wanting to develop and progress into the role. We are interested in speaking with ambitious individuals and offer high quality development and progression routes.
Wellspring is a highly successful Multi-Academy Trust with Academies in the Primary, Secondary, Special and Alternative Education sectors. We are committed to making a difference to the lives and life chances of the young people and the communities we serve.
During the past decade since its formation, Wellspring has grown to be so much more than an organisation that manages schools. We are delivering social change in communities across the north of England and improving outcomes for all. We have an incredibly strong values driven culture and a central team of passionate forward-thinking experts we are very proud of.
We have vacancies available in Leeds, Barnsley, and North Yorkshire. We are very flexible with regard to the post being full or shared part time in order to accommodate
strong candidates. We offer a generous support package which includes 27 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays and additional paid time off between Christmas and New year.
We offer a generous pension scheme, hybrid and flexible working plus other great benefits. We want all our people to achieve their fullest potential and offer funded qualifications.
Strong and trusting relationships are at the heart of our approach at Wellspring and at times this is best enabled through meeting colleagues in person. Whilst the role can be hybrid, the ability to travel to Governing Body meetings is required, as is a driving licence and access to a vehicle. Work patterns may vary week to week depending on work cycles, though meeting dates are known well in advance. Some early evening work is required due to the nature of the role.
