Job Description

The role of Transport Supervisor in Tamworth will involve:

  • Managing the drivers.
  • Conducting absence reviews and disciplinaries.
  • Ensure the drivers and vehicles are compliant.
  • Resolve any conflict within the transport division.
  • Improve and maintain SLAs standards.
  • Customer service.
  • Liaising with service providers.
  • Travel to cover at other sites as required.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Transport Supervisor will have:

  • Experience managing a large number of drivers.
  • Previously conducted disciplinaries and return-to-works.
  • Strong understanding of transport compliance.
  • Knowledge of drivers hours.
  • Fleet maintenance experience.
  • Previous experience in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
  • A good standard of IT systems/software knowledge.


Desirable:

  • Microlise experience.
