Duties:
· Managing daily operations for a busy café
· Supervising, hiring and training barista staff
· Managing and assisting customer queries
· Reporting on financial milestones and managing budgets
· Ensuring all relevant health and safety regulations are adhered to
· Preparing weekly and monthly work schedules for staff
· Managing inventory needs and ensuring correct items and quantities
· Creation of new menu items and signature food products
· Identifying strategies to retain and attract new customers
· Managing retail strategy concerning retail coffee products
· Managing the social media platforms of the business
· Developing and implementing other streams of revenue
Skills Required:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role in managing a speciality coffee and food retail store.
· Manage a workforce to deliver exceptional quality products within a fast-paced environment
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
· Managing team efficiency in relation to store revenue
· Passionate about coffee and retail service
· Strong reporting and analytical skills
· Desire and drive to exceed financial targets
· Developing on going systems to grow revenue,
· Ensuring staff are delivering high levels of customer service and quality of product
· Developing and maintaining staff training programs
· High levels of Barista skills within speciality coffee
