Service Architect Contract Length: anticipated 12 Months Location: London - 2 days per week onsite. Our client is within central government, and they are looking to hire a Service Architect. As the Service Architect you will have at least five years’ experience working in a similar role and previous experience of managing stakeholder expectations, with an understanding of the appropriate mediums to communicate findings. A Service Architect is required to set the vision for the organisations use of data, through data design, to meet business needs and deliver the vision for the organisation. We are looking for a Service Architect with broad experience in producing relevant data models across multiple subject area, with the ability to compare and align different data models. As the Service Architect you will have the following responsibilities:
- Set the vision for the organisation’s use of data, through data design, to meet business needs.
- Deliver the vision for the organisation.
- Design data models and metadata systems and helps to interpret business needs.
- Provide oversight and advice to other data architects who are undertaking the design of data models and support the management of data dictionaries.
- Work with technical architects to make sure that an organisations systems are designed in accordance with the appropriate data architecture.
As the Service Architect you will have worked in a similar role and will have the following skillset:
- Managing stakeholder expectations and understand the appropriate mediums to communicate findings.
- Understand the impact of emerging trends.
- Produce relevant data models across multiple subject areas.
- Compare and align different data models.
- Develop and set data standards across multiple subject areas.
- Ability to design an appropriate metadata repository.
- Ability to co-ordinate teams to resolve problems and implement solutions.
- Ability to work within a strategic context.
- Able to work across multiple subject areas, a single large or complicated subject area.
Contract Length: anticipated 12 months INSIDE IR35: Up to £743 per day pay range subject to IR35 status Location: London - 2 days per week onsite. Interview Process: MS Teams
