The Role of the Social Media & Content Manager

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for the development, content creation and execution of the social media strategy across the Happy Egg co, Purely Organic & Freshlay brands.

We’re on the hunt for a Social Media & Content Manager, reporting into the Marketing Manager.

In this role, you will act as the gatekeeper of the brand across social, creating content that’s fun, engaging and always feels human!

A little bit about the role & what you will be doing:

All about the Comms – Social, Email, Website - From strategy to campaign management; crafting beautiful TikToks and Reels to measuring success, you’ll ensure everything we post, or share feels right for the Happy Egg, Purely Organic & Freshlay brands. Whether that’s sparking brand love, driving sales or building loyalty, you’ll own this part of the marketing mix & be responsible for communicating our brand values & what we do at every opportunity!

Content Creation - You will live & breathe creating beautiful content – having the knack to do it yourself instead of relying on agencies!

The Brand Gatekeeper - You will be the sounding board of what makes something look & feel like nourishing people, animals and the planet. You won’t be expected to design it, but strong creative management & design understanding is crucial!

An Eye for the Detail – You will have a keen eye for how our brand is used externally, managing & working alongside our external agencies who support things like press releases, working with influencers, & other brand partnerships.

A bit about you:

• Passionate about social media and keeping up to date with latest digital trends and opportunities.
• You will need to be a strong storyteller & content creator who lives & breathes creating high-performing Reels & TikTok’s
• Knowledge and experience of building social media content and audiences Exceptional copywriting and community management skills. Knowledge of social insights and experience using social listening and reporting tools. Creativity Strong visual and photographic skills Video creativity skills Planning skills and strong attention to detail Ability to present data and report back on KPIs and performance tracking Good use of creative design packages, photoshop, indesign or equivalent
• Strong English literacy skills.
