Senior Network Delivery Manager.
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary: €55,000 - €75,000 (Dependent on Experience).

OVERVIEW:

  • Our client is currently seeking a Senior Network Delivery Manager to join their expanding team and help to take them to the next level. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and develop this account to fit the ambitious growth plans of the company.
  • Candidates need to possess extensive knowledge in the deployment of fibre rollouts from survey, design, build & quality control. A very good standard of English would be required as well as proficiency in IT for client reporting purposes. Candidates must also have experience in the delivery of fibre network projects across Southern Ireland projects.
  • Based in their Dublin operations centres, the successful candidate has overall responsibility for the delivery of the client project(s). The key elements of this role are to coordinate all aspects of the project, to ensure that the project meets the client's expectations. The Senior Network Delivery Manager will oversee all aspects of projects including - survey, design, build & quality control.

THE ROLE:

  • This role will suit an experienced, ambitious professional, capable of working in a dynamic environment in a direct client-facing role. You must be comfortable working to and setting high standards for your team. You will be responsible and take ownership of the operations of key FttH projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Forecast, track, and manage various projects within the client domain ensuring delivery on schedule and within cost as agreed with the clients and company.
  • Lead an effective team, ensuring that resource is fully utilised, and any contact demand is effectively covered.
  • Form an overarching view of all workstreams ensuring that deployment is in-line with deliverables.
  • Build a high-performance team; hire and retain the right talent in the right roles; set goals, delegate work, hold reports accountable; develop and empower direct reports to make decisions and take action. Monitor individual employee performance on an ongoing basis. Responsible for conducting formal reviews with employees.
  • Proactively isolating and identifying areas of improvement – driving resolve.
  • Issue scheduled reports to clients and senior management.
  • Tracking costs and ensuring POs are in place to cover works assigned.
  • Programme works with a detailed efficiency to ensure maximum output.
  • Ensure that design, field staff and sub-contractors are aware of the project's contents and requirements prior to works commencing.
  • Ensure stores management system is in place and consistently efficient.
  • Ensure fleet requirements are communicated and actively managed.
  • Consistently review and ensure that all works adhere to the company's HSEQ and ISO standards.
  • Track and manage daily, weekly, and monthly outputs across all overheads.
  • Drive continuous improvement both in the technical and deployment domains.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

  • 5+ years in a similar position.
  • Skilled in FttH networks across survey, design & build teams.
  • Expert knowledge of trunk, feeder, and distribution architectures - design & build.
  • Experienced in both the use and development of design-based tools such as ArcGIS and QGIS.
  • Previous experience in telecoms civils to purple book standards.
  • Previous experience in managing surveys, design & field-based teams’ and sub-contractors.
  • Ability to hold full project control and governance.
  • Flexible and adaptable to work challenges and open to learning and developing skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work to a high standard consistently.
  • A high standard of written and spoken English.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Full driver’s licence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
