Location: Sefton

A Social Worker is required to undertake work in the Mash Team for a changing and vibrant authority. Sefton is already on a journey of aspiration and ambition as it works towards an exciting 2030 vision and delivering its 5 year children and young peoples plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and work effectively with children and their families, to safeguard and promote their welfare
• Assess and manage the risks associated with children and young people
• Plan, implement and review care plans, ensuring that they are effective and are meeting the needs of the children and young people involved
• Attend and contribute to team meetings, case conferences, and other meetings relevant to the role
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of work, in accordance with Sefton policies and procedures

Key Requirements:

• SWE registered
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience working within children services
• MASH experience is appreciated but not essential
