The Role and Responsibilities - Quantity Surveyor

• You will be supporting the project teams, with planning and management of reactive maintenance work.
• Sub-Contract and Labour management.
• You will assist your Senior colleagues with CVR process, giving you vital experience to make the next step.
• Following a schedule of rates, whilst having the opportunity to negotiate any exemptions.
• Managing high levels of data and projects to ensure cash flow and WIP is kept up to date.

This role is an ideal opportunity for an aspiring Quantity Surveyor with experience in facilities management wanting to move in to the indestructible rail sector. You will be responsible for the reactive maintenance of several rail buildings and assets.

The opportunity lends itself to you if you’re not afraid to get stuck into high levels of work. You will also have the opportunity to build and develop yourself alongside a great commercial team with spectacular leaders who will support you from day 1.

Remuneration & Benefits

If successful within this role you will be offered an outstanding package for the role.

• Great starting salary £35,000-43,000
• Car Allowance

About You

To be successful within this role you will need to have professional experience within the facilities management industry and/or hold a relevant degree. You will have a good working attitude with the ability to work collaboratively and independently under instruction.

Other traits from the successful candidate are an initial and early understanding of the processes involved, good interworking relationship building, and excellent time-management and work ethic.
