The role will both provide an excellent introduction into a procurement career. The role will work across a wide area of spend allowing development of commercial skills in an exciting and dynamic public procurement environment.
The role will require you to provide effective and efficient coordination of procurement activities including the maintenance of accurate records and full administrative support to all information systems. Whilst providing support to one of the Category Managers, assisting with larger above threshold procurements and lead tendering exercises for categories with a lower level of spend.
The role will require advice and support to be provided to all customer enquiries in relation to general procurement queries. It is also expected to manage and drive value across all categories within the procurement function.
