About Our Client

My client is a Not for Profit Organisation based in Lincoln, easily commutable from wider Lincolnshire and parts of South Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Manager to have autonomy within a Payroll Manager position, whilst supporting the organisation through a system change.

Job Description

The Payroll Manager will report to the Head of Finance. The key responsibilities of the Payroll Manager include but are not limited to:

  • Lead, manage and motivate a payroll team c.7
  • Running all payrolls across the Trust size c4500
  • Processing payments and statutory/voluntary deductions i
  • Ensure the payroll reflects up to date legislation
  • Pro actively seek areas the improve the Payroll function and internal processes
  • Provide reporting on a regular basis and provide assistance to internal reviews and external audits

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

  • Have extensive experience working as a payroll professional
  • Knowledge of Payroll processes and is able to prove competence and relevant experience
  • Have a track record of supervising, leading and coaching a team
  • Have a working knowledge of RTI and Auto Enrolment
  • Have previous experience of computerised payroll processing, payroll laws and regulations
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
  • Have excellent time management skills and be detail oriented
