Little People Montessori Nursery aim to develop the 'whole' child whilst ensuring they have fun each day.

This nursery has a large garden area which is used daily if possible with sensory play areas, a climbing wall and a growing garden as well as an upstairs studio where the children have weekly ballet, yoga and gymnastics classes with specialist instructors. Children in the Montessori class have additional access to swimming lessons at the local swimming pool and football coaching with Fulham Football Club.

This nursery also has daily access to the local parks, markets and a local library, and the nursery runs a comprehensive Forest School programme each week.

The main responsibilities of this job role will include:

• Working towards Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
• Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
• Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun.
• Assisting the facility in meeting OFSTED requirements, which will also benefit in the Childcare Apprenticeship.
• Being a team player.
• Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children appropriately to meet the Apprenticeship requirements.
• Taking part in First Aid training as required.
• Undertaking training as appropriate to meet any changes in the Apprenticeship Standards or appropriate legal requirements as required within the childcare setting.
• Ensuring that all Health, Safety and Hygiene requirements are always adhered to during the Childcare Apprenticeship.
• Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery and management
• Working with teams across the nursery setting
• Supporting children’s learning and development, including supporting planning and observations towards your Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
• Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
• Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
• Supporting children’s self-help needs.
• Being creative and enthusiastic.
• Following Safeguarding rules and regulations to also meet the Standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship.

All nurseries swift childcare work with are located near excellent transport links and amenities.

Willing to pay up to £6 per hour, with the possibility of earning up to £26,000 once qualified.
