Job Description

Protocol Education are seeking a Mental Health Support Worker to work in a Secondary school in Newcastle upon Tyne (United Kingdom), supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs (SEMH).

We have positions starting from Easter 2023 (pending clearance) until the summer term (July 2023).

You will be paid between £77-80 a day. You will need an Enhanced DBS check.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about SEND/SEMH and supporting children with additional needs and being fully able to adapt themselves to meet each individual needs, including excellent behaviour management.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
