Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced in-house financial specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including inputting data, managing VAT, payroll, P & L statements, and other financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Input financial data into accounting software accurately and in a timely manner
Manage the company's VAT and ensure compliance with regulations
Oversee payroll and ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time
Prepare P and L statements and other financial reports on a regular basis
Monitor financial transactions and ensure they are recorded correctly
Analyze financial data and provide insights to the management team for strategic decision-making
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with all accounting standards
Liaise with external accountants and auditors as required
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management
Experience in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
A degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is desirable
Knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations is a plus
