MASAJ is London’s leading massage company and we are looking for the best massage therapists and Bodyworkers London has to offer.

Designed as a sanctuary for Londoners looking to combat the negative effects of city living, we’ve been bringing our own brand of bodywork to the city’s wellbeing scene since 2016, all while focussing on creating an inclusive, supportive environment for our community, and committing to sustainable, ethical and local business practices across the board.

Being a MASAJ Therapist

We aim to take the inevitable stresses of being an in-demand Massage Therapist out of the job. We seek to provide a place where Therapists can be the expert and concentrate on bodywork, while we do the rest. We currently have openings for weekend only therapists to work across our studios in Shoreditch, Marylebone and our new Central London location opening summer 2023!

About you

• We ask all applicants to check they are fully insured and a member of a well-known and respected regulatory body (such as FHT), before proceeding with their application.
• We require all our team members to hold a Deep Tissue qualification.
• We ask for a commitment to a mixture of opening and closing shifts.
• We ask all team members to carry out couples treatments, for which we carry out a small paid training session (1 hour).
• All team members are required to undertake a paid onboarding session/customer services training session before joining the team (3 hours).
• We ask for a reliable reference before Therapists join the team.

• Shifts/Pay:. The position is freelance, invoiced on a monthly basis and paid by the 5th of the month. Working weekends across our 3 studios in London (with potential to pick up weekday shifts)

Rota and Shift Information

• We are open from 7.45am until 9.45pm daily, and this day is split up into shifts
• You will only ever massage up to 5.5 hours per shift
• Shifts are often busy but there is always 15 minutes between sessions.
• We do not allow back to back shifts on the same day
• We take care to schedule sensible 2 week rotating shift patterns
• We ask for a month's notice for a permanent change to your rotating rota
• We ask for a month's notice if you are going to be away for a period of time
• There are always extra shifts which you can pick at your own leisure (weekend staff must fulfill their 4 shifts per 4 week rota)

Job Type: Freelance

Salary: £12.06-£50.41 per hour
