Our specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide free, expert advice, support and understanding to help families care for their loved one. About the role

The Insights and Evaluation Team (I and E Team) support Dementia UK in building the evidence base for Admiral Nursing through collecting and sharing evidence on the effectiveness of the Admiral Nursing model. The team also have a role in embedding a culture of evaluation within Admiral Nurse services.

The Insights and Evaluation Advisor (I and E Advisor) will be responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of evidence on the impact of Admiral Nursing and wider Dementia UK activities in line with Dementia UK’s Strategy. You will support the development of a culture of innovation within the team by creating new datasets and leading on the implementation and management of evaluations to grow evidence for Admiral Nursing. You will lead on analysing and reporting evaluation and data requests from other teams within the Charity in a timely and accurate manner, and share learning from this work internally when representing the team at meetings and working groups.

We are looking for applicants with advanced quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills, strong evaluation, research and project management skills, and a proven track record in conducting multi-method evaluations using a range of techniques. You should have a First Degree in a relevant discipline with demonstrable experience (e.g. health research, health service improvement) and a good understanding of information governance issues.
