Are you an Experienced Healthcare assistant who is ready for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced health care assistant to join the team on the newly opened NIHR Nottingham Clinical Research Facility. The successful candidate will support across a variety of specialities.
The candidate will join research teams based in the NIHR Nottingham Clinical Research Facility based at Queens Medical Centre, some across campus work may be expected within the role.
The post holder will play a key role in the provision of care and management of the Clinical Research Facility and our patients participating in clinical studies. We are looking for motivated, skilful and knowledgeable Health Care Assistants who will work well as part of a team and demonstrate initiative. A strong background of clinical skills venepuncture, cannulation, ECG's are required.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post holder will be supporting the managing & delivery a varied & complex portfolio of clinical trials from study set up to archiving in accordance with the clinical trial protocol and Good Clinical Practice in collaboration with the nursing and practitioner Clinical Research Facility team.
The post holder will also be responsible for supporting clinical skills, including but not restricted to Venepuncture, cannulation and undertaking ECG’s. They will also be responsible for oversight of unit stock management and ordering with the admin team.
The post holder will be working across all three NUH sites depending of the needs of the clinical trials service

Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.

ID and Right to work checks: NUH authenticate all ID and right to work documentation such as passports, visa’s and driving license through a system called Trust ID. NUH will scan your ID and right to work documentation in to the Trust ID system at your face to face ID appointment. The system will run a check against the key security features within your documentation. The system will provide us with an outcome of your check which will be stored securely on your personal file along with all other pre-employment check documentation.

Hours: 16 (must be fully flexible). As a Sales Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the store management team, you'll be tasked with driving forward
Attention to detail, in particular the accuracy of data entered into the systems with the determination to meet deadlines.
Contract: Permanent, full-time, minimum of 40 hours per week. Hours: Monday to Friday, with some weekend working.
