We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Manager to join the business on one of our key retail customers operations based in Worcester.

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

  • Work closely with the customer to enable the site to deliver on expectations and maximise on any opportunities to further develop the site/range of services provided
  • Take full operational, commercial, and budgetary responsibility for the management of the site
  • Ensure operational service levels are met and exceeded through the achievement of operational KPI's
  • Support the OD and business development teams as required on development opportunities at current site and potential new operations
  • Working safely and delivering high quality, customer focussed service to build trusted relationships with internal customers/colleagues
  • Through the management team, ensure compliance with statutory health and safety, employment and environmental issues including regular monitoring to ensure that a high profile of all these key areas are maintained.
  • Lead development initiatives that site wholly within account structure. Work in collaboration with other DHL sites to maximise efficiencies and best practice.

  • Experience of working within a supply chain environment essential
  • Extensive experience in operational and project management roles
  • Previous experience of managing and leading, building and developing teams
  • Exceptional and demonstrable record of delivering against targets
  • Decision making, relationship management with the ability to influence at all levels of the business

Business and Commercial acumen with analytical and numerical with strong communication skills
