University of Nottingham Sport are seeking to appoint a proactive and passionate individual for the role of Office Manager and PA to the Sports Directorate, for a maternity cover.
The role will provide high level, professional administrative and secretarial support to the Director and four Assistant Directors of Sport, as well as supporting key stakeholder relationships and managing a range of departmental wide processes. The successful candidate needs to be proactive, operating in a flexible and intuitive manner to provide the necessary level of support to the Sports Directorate, to enable them to maximise their time. This role requires sensitivity to and understanding of, issues around confidentiality.
In this role, you will also oversee and manage the operation and functionality of the open plan office to ensure it enables a productive and dynamic working environment for individuals in a wide range of different roles within Business Development to Participation Sport to Performance Coaches.
The post holder will also manage/support the logistics for a number of special projects, for example supporting some of the departmental major events such as BUCS Big Wednesday, Open Days, Welcome Week or Varsity.
This role is offered until the 31st July 2024. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours) ; however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 25 hours per week).
