The Company Overview:

Butler Rose are pleased to be partnered with a fantastic organisation who support the Health & Social Care space by providing a recruitment process to ensure clients and residents receive the quality of care they deserve. They are seeking a Finance Manager to play a key part in the continued growth of the business.

Based in their Warrington offices you'll be reporting into the Managing Director where you'll be responsible for developing strategies for the long term financial goals of the business. You will also provide a balanced combination of guidance on financial decisions, investment planning, asset purchasing and streamlining internal processes.

The role would suit a hands-on individual with Financial Management experience, preferably within the Health Care sector but this is not necessarily a requirement. You will be self motivated, an excellent communicator and problem solver and you'll have excellent commercial/business awareness.

Your new role as Finance Manager:

You will be responsible for:

  • Daily/weekly and monthly financial reporting
  • Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries, and financial statements
  • Developing and managing financial systems/models.
  • Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments.
  • Follow and advocate our core principles: our mission, our values, our vision.
  • Analysing financial changes and advising accordingly.
  • Formulating strategic and long-term business plans.
  • Ensure that all MI/Accounting Reports are delivered precisely and in a timely manner to Directors and CEO.
  • Issue any legal documents as and when required.
  • Arranging inductions
  • Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
  • Contribute suggestions and experience to "best practice"
  • Managing feedback from your clients to drive new ideas into to the management team and the business
  • Building key relationships with clients and the relevant personnel
  • Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Keeping and developing well-organised files and records of financial activity
  • Ensure that financial reconciliations have been delivered in a timely manner
  • Monitor and manage the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
  • Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
  • Invoicing & Billing Audits
  • Profit & Loss Tracking
  • Achieve GPM and NPM Targets
  • Management and Development of Finance Team
  • Credit Control Management and Audit
  • Bookkeeping Audits
  • VAT Returns
  • Procurement
  • Reconcile, identify and investigate variances.



The Experience & Qualifications Required:

The ideal candidate shall be/have:

  • A high-level understanding of Xero and Sage systems
