On behalf of the Governing Body I would like to thank you for showing an interest in the post of Early Years' Educator at Rockwood Nursery School. We are looking for a kind and caring new team member to join our wonderful staff.
Rockwood Nursery School is an 'Outstanding' School. We cater for children from 2 - 4 years in flexible, full time and sessional sessions. Due to the promotion of one of our wonderful staff, the Governors are looking to appoint a TA to support our school family alongside other staff.
This post is a variable hours post, with an initial contract of 34 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday, term time only from 8:15 am – 3:30 pm. The post is initially for a term of one year, with the possibility of extension to permanent after this.
Our Nursery works within `Our Image of the Child' to ensure that all children achieve their potential through a curriculum centred on the children's interests and needs. Alongside working with parents, we aim to develop the characteristics of effective learning in all children to ensure they become life-long learners ready for the challenge of Primary School. The Nursery environment both indoors and outside offers a vast amount of learning opportunities which includes Forest School and projects linked with other settings in the area.

This position is part time please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
Relevant Child Care qualification NNEB/NVQ L3 EY (or equivalent)
Desirable Qualifications
Paediatric First Aid training
Food Safety training
Essential Experience
At least 2 years post qualification experience of working within the EYFS with 2-4s
