A leading education services business providing a range of solutions to the sector.

Job Description

  • Identify areas of website improvement across each business and work with the Digital team on ongoing developments.
  • Maintain and optimise company websites and intranets including content creation and SEO.
  • Build landing pages, using UX best practices.
  • Weekly checking of each website to ensure they are functioning correctly and optimised for mobile, SEO and content layout.
  • Develop a series of reports for each business on how their websites and marketing campaigns are performing and recommendations for the next period
  • New website project scoping, design and implementations for Group businesses (both current and newly acquired).
  • Run website A/B tests where appropriate.
  • Running regular technical SEO reports on SEMrush and acting on the results along with informing relevant stakeholders.
  • Keyword research (to include generating a negative keyword list) for new campaigns using tools such as Google Keyword Planner and SEMrush to identify competitor terms as well as campaign specific lists.
  • Monitoring of keyword effectiveness once campaigns are live and making adjustments as required
  • Identify main competitors for each Business and provide regular reports and recommendations on what they are doing successfully and what we can do to outrank them

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in HubSpot for creating automation workflows and optimal customer journeys
  • Experience in a digital marketing role (ideally with a digital focus)
  • In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments (ideal, not essential)
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Working experience with website analytics, reporting tools such as Google Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, and digital advertising best practices
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also autonomously if required
