Credit Controller
Permanent
Based in Crawley
Hybrid working after 2- 3month handover period (3 days in the office, 2 days at home)
Hours of work: 9am - 5:30pm
£26,000 - £28,000 per annum

Tony Alan Recruitment currently has a new and exciting job opportunity for a Credit Controller to join an award-winning global business in the Crawley area on a permanent basis.

You will assist in prompt collection of the companies’ debts, processing accounting data, and ensuring all customers and clients receive a quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building relationships with internal and external clients to facilitate settlement of outstanding bills in line with terms of business
  • Dealing with, escalating, and managing queries raised by clients through to conclusion
  • Regular meetings and calls with stakeholders to agree actions and responsibilities
  • Daily maintenance and noting of debtor’s ledge
  • Checking and issuing of monthly statements and reminder letters
  • Monthly debtor provisioning in line with policy
  • Cash management; maximising collections, arranging refunds, transferring, and reallocating
  • Supporting the preparation of month-end tasks and delivery of reports

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience working within a Credit Control
  • Comfortable working with people at all levels within the organisation
  • Willingness to travel including some overnight stays
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Microsoft office (including Outlook, Excel, Word)

You will be joining an established Credit Control team where a busy and enjoyable working environment is on offer.
