Salary: £22000 - £24500 per annum
The Role:
To act as a support function to the Business Accounts, Sales Ledger and Credit Control team covering 4 companies within the Theo Paphitis Retail Group, Ryman Ltd, Boux Avenue Ltd, London Graphics Centre Ltd and Robert Dyas Group Ltd.

What will you do?
- Chase overdue debt by telephone, emails and letter
- Escalate collection to legal action with solicitors
- Bad debt write off processing
- Process customer credit card payments
- Issue statements, invoices and credit notes
- Issue weekly reminder emails according to the company dunning process
- Process and post sundry invoices and credit notes
- Daily review of account balances and credit limits
- Manage, update and maintain customer accounts
- Manage team email inbox handling general customer enquiries
- Provide copy documents (invoices, credits and statements)
- Liaise with other departments to resolve customer queries
- Activate and maintain Business Account customer store cards (card cancellation and issue replacement / additional / new cards)
- Electronic filing and archiving
What we would like to see in you:
- 12 months+ previous experience in a Finance office, ideally Sales Ledger or Credit Control
- Professional telephone manner
- Customer Service awareness
- Resilient, flexible and adaptable
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Internet Explorer, Outlook and Google Suite
- Strong organisation and administrative skills
- Team player who can listen, learn and act on feedback
- Excellent track record of working in a fast moving and complex environment with great
- accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to communicate confidently and professionally with people at all levels both internally
- and externally
- Ability to use your own initiative with a desire to innovate and manage your own workload
