Electrical Contracts Manager required for our client; electrical compliance and safety specialists who are fast growing based in the South East responsible for keeping commercial, industrial and government buildings compliant. They require an Electrical Contracts Manager to join their operations department for a major site in Fitzrovia, London.

Ideally the Electrical Contracts Manager will have experience in management of electrical projects and electricians. Candidates will be fully qualified with valid 2360 Part 1&2 or 2330 Level 2&3, 2382-18 - 18th Edition and 2391 Inspection & Testing qualifications.

The successful candidate will act as an internal and client facing works co-ordinator, working alongside the existing the Contracts Managers and scheduling team, managing the day-to-day activities of the engineering workforce.

Electrical Contracts Manager Position Overview

Reporting to the Operations Director, the site-based Contracts Manager will be responsible for the following duties within the bounds of the designated compliance contract: -

• Based on site alongside client representatives and contract supervisory personnel.
• Delivering electrical compliance works from a broad 'campus-wide' programme.
• Conducting surveys, pre-works meetings and organising building specific schedules of work, liaising with building managers and occupying stakeholders.
• Regular monitoring to ensure works are undertaken within budget and set timescales.
• Manage and monitor designated workforce, overseeing all matters relating to Health and Safety.
• Liaising with the client's IT/comms managers to ensure data traffic is handled during disruptive works.
• Issuing isolation notifications to relevant departments.
• Managing all access and permitting matters with the client's Compliance team
• Submitting key requests to the client's Security team.
• Qualifying completed certification and updating contract record drawings (LV schematics & distribution layout plans)
• Progress reporting to estates management team.
• Client relationship management with primary contacts.

The Electrical Contracts Manager will be based on a major site in Fitzrovia, London.

Electrical Contracts Manager Position Requirements

• Be qualified to the 18th Edition with at least C&G 2382 and 2391 (or equivalent).
• Be suitably experienced around Inspection & Testing requirements, Electrical Installation Condition Reports and other NICEIC accredited certification.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence.

Electrical Contracts Manager Position Remuneration

• £50,000 - 55,000.00 per annum.
