Here at Yidian, we pride ourselves in sharing Japanese and Korean culture to the western world, including all things music, food and history. We own two sub-businesses, Mochikim and Mochiskin Studio, where we share our love of these cultures through selling exclusive and limited edition merchandise.

After the very successful launch of Mochikim last year, our Snacks channel, we expanded our business and developed the Korean Beauty account, Mochiskin Studio. Both E-commerces are ran by our small, yet ultra-talented team, who all share similar passions and interests!

What you'll be doing

As a Content Creator, you will be joining the Marketing and Social Media team on a part-time 12h permanent contract. Being a start-up company, you also get to work directly with our Founder and across different departments to shoot fun and exciting content!

We're looking for a creative individual who has a passion for digital marketing (and all things social!) to support the work of the high achieving Marketing and Social Media team. Reporting back to the Social Media Manager, you will be planning, shooting and editing content for both Instagram and Tiktok.

The ideal candidate will be able to analyse data and promotional activity, ensuring slow moving stock is moved quickly and efficiently through the business.

Essential Skills

• Strong administrative and IT skills, ideally experience of using databases
• Strong background in photo and short-video creation
• Proficient user of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Excellent written communication skills
• Strong research, numerical and analytical skills
• Well organised and able to prioritise a busy workload
• Articulate and able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
• Aligned with the companies values of kindness, togetherness, integrity, and innovation

You would have ideally studied a Marketing or Business related degree but applicants from any discipline at University that has an enthusiasm to want to join a growing organisation will be considered.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Graduate
Part-time hours: 12 per week

Salary: From £500.00 per month
