Clinical Deputy Manager – Care Home – RGN ONLY

*You must have experience as a MANAGER within a Care Home environment to be considered for this role*

· Registered with a valid NMC Pin and full eligibility to live and work in the UK.

Location: Swaffham, Norfolk (Must have secure residency)

Position: Deputy Manager – NMC Pinned RGN

Hours: Full time (Clinical and Supernumerary hours*)

Salary: up to £20.00 per hour / £41,600 per year (based on 40 hours)

Contract: Permanent

About the Job:

As the Clinical Deputy Manager, you will support the registered manager in all aspects of the home’s day to day running, including taking temporary or complete charge of the home in their absence. You will be supporting the manager with all systems and procedures to assure the quality of care provided by the home. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring the planning and delivering of care, including medication management. You will be assisting with the management of the care and nursing teams including regular supervisions and appraisals.

· Registered with a valid NMC Pin and full eligibility to live and work in the UK.

You will be someone that is engaging, compassionate and respectful. You’ll need to have current NMC registration and a good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices, experience of writing detailed care plans including, risk assessments and diet plans. Having a good understanding of regulatory frameworks including DoLs/MCA is essential. You will pride yourself on delivering outstanding care while supporting and encouraging the team around you.
