Food FMCG business require a Buyer. Applicants should have procurement experience within food or FMCG environment, or Project Managers within Food & Beverage industry looking to transition into procurement can be considered.

The Buyer will be responsible for leading procurement activities with assigned contract manufacturing suppliers. This is an exciting full lifecycle procurement opportunity, in which the Buyer will be involved from supplier selection to negotiations and on-going vendor management.

Specific duties of the Buyer include:

• Supply market intelligence activities and investigation of new sources of supply
• Contribute to the development of sourcing strategies
• Supplier management and contract monitoring
• Liaison with Quality/R&D in regards to NPD and product launches
• Contribute to savings targets and update savings tracker

Buyer applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Buyer, procurement, purchasing or sourcing experiences.
• Food or FMCG sector experience would be preferred. Project Managers from Food backgrounds can also be considered
• The ability to foster collaborative relationships with supply chain partners
• Great interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
• Pro-active, positive and is open in their approach
