Profile

Requirements

  • Good understanding of Modern Object Orientated Programming Concepts
  • Professional experience developing applications in Java / Kotlin
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with regular customer interaction
  • Willing to travel (within UK)
  • Able to obtain security clearance
  • Aptitude to learn new technologies

Desired Competencies

  • Professional experience using the Android SDK including use of Android JetPack (esp. databinding and room)
  • Experience of automated testing (UI Automator and Espresso) and Kotlin test frameworks
  • Experience of one or more of networking, video or data visualisation (with a geospatial component) on Android
  • Previous experience working as part of an Agile team


Entry Requirements

Previous relevant industry experience preferred (i.e. previous internship, work experience or placement)

Travel

Please note, you may be required to work on client sites, which are away from your base location - this can be for an extended period of time. In this instance, all travel and expenses costs will be covered. If you have concerns about this; please speak to your recruitment contact.

Only those with the permanent and unrestricted right to live and work in the UK will be considered for a position within BAE Systems Applied Intelligence.
