Job Description

Our insurance broker is looking for a motivated and results-driven Telemarketing Representative to join our team. The main responsibility of this role is to make outbound calls to prospective clients, introduce our insurance products, and arrange a telephone appointment with one of our Account Executives to discuss their insurance needs. The successful candidate will be able to handle rejection, work in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication skills.

Up to £23,000 Basic Salary with OTE of up to £27,500

Key Responsibilities:

• Place outbound calls to prospective clients using a provided script to introduce our insurance products
• Identify client needs and explain the features and benefits of our products
• Schedule telephone appointments with Account Executives for clients interested in discussing their insurance needs further
• Use customer relationship management software to record client information and update client records after calls
• Follow up with clients who have previously shown interest in our products to maintain relationships and increase sales opportunities
• Meet weekly and monthly call quotas to achieve sales targets
• Continuously improve sales skills and knowledge of our products through training and development opportunities

Requirements:

• Previous telemarketing or sales experience preferred but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with computer software and basic typing skills
• Customer-focused and able to build rapport quickly
• Strong work ethic and desire to achieve sales goals
• Willingness to continuously learn and improve sales skills
