An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Apprentice to join the Improvement and Transformation Team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust providing an efficient and comprehensive administration support to the team. If you are organised, have a thirst for quality improvement & are interested in a career within the NHS, then this could be the job for you.
In this role, you will provide a comprehensive administration service including organising and administering meetings, training and events. This will include but not limited to, the preparation and distribution of papers, maintaining administrative support systems and managing generic mailboxes.
The post holder will be required to work 37.5 hours per week. They will be enrolled on a paid for Level 3 Business Admin course and develop your skills whilst you provide an administrative support service to the Trust Improvement Team.
Main duties of the job
Please note that the UK government require non-UK nationals to have lived in the UK for 3 years to be eligible for apprenticeship funding.
This post will be integral to helping provide a co-ordinated approach, to support the delivery of Quality Service Improvement and Redesign ( QSIR) Training.
The successful applicant will have knowledge of MS Office applications i.e Word, Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint, have good attention to detail and organisational skills.

We are a small team providing support across the whole Trust to empower staff with the skills and tools to deliver improvement work at NUH.
You will get a wide view of different aspects of an acute hospital and application of your admin skills in the context of service improvement.
Currently, we are mainly working from home and work partly in the office.
Joining this team will not only allow you to interact and gain knowledge from your professional peers, but will also equip you for future roles within the NHS. We are a friendly and hard-working team that support each other but we also trust each team member to be able to function independently.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Working under the direction of the Project Improvement Support officer to develop skills to:
Effective delivery of Quality Service Improvement and Redesign (QSIR)
Develop and maintain administrative support systems, including circulation lists, regular meeting dates and venues, reviewing and responding to emails coming into the Improvement & Transformation Team generic mailbox, the QSIR mailbox, electronic filing systems, and ensuring that systems are effective in their use and are reviewed regularly.
To work with system partners, building relationships and demonstrating the right behaviours as a representative of NUH.

Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
