Job Description
Position Summary:
The Technical Librarian manages and maintains technical documentation, manuals, schematics, and maintenance records in support of Navy ship systems engineering and repair programs. This role ensures technical teams have accurate and up-to-date reference materials.
Experience: 3 or more years of experience
Key Responsibilities:
Organize, maintain, and distribute technical manuals and schematics.
Track updates and revisions to Navy technical publications.
Support technical personnel by locating and providing requested documentation.
Ensure compliance with Navy documentation control standards.
Maintain digital and physical technical library resources.
Coordinate with technical staff to ensure the library reflects current maintenance requirements.
Required Experience & Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with Navy technical documentation systems and control procedures.
Strong organizational and cataloging skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in document management.
