Salary: $120,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Proactively partner with suppliers to identify and resolve quality issues concerning materials and components ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
- Thoroughly manage certifications and perform regular supplier audits to uphold and exceed quality requirements.
- Utilize industry-standard problem-solving tools such as 5-Why, FMEA, and Root-Cause Analysis to address and rectify quality challenges providing lasting solutions.
- Lead, strategize, and execute continuous improvement projects enhancing process efficacy.
- Meticulously maintain and update critical quality records and documentation.
- Travel up to 25% of the time to conduct onsite supplier audits and reinforce supplier partnerships across global locales.
Minimum Position Qualifications: - Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- At least 5 years of supplier quality management experience within regulated industries, preferably in medical devices.
- Accrued expertise in conducting supplier audits, supporting internal audits, and executing root cause investigations is mandatory.
- Proficiency with ISO13485, ISO9001, or similar stringent quality systems and standards.
- Exceptional communication abilities and adeptness in managing intricate audit processes.
Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced knowledge and application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven ability to mentor teams and drive quality enhancement initiatives across cross-functional groups.
- Avid problem-solver with innovative solutions and proactive approach.

- High level of proficiency in documentation and meticulous record keeping.
