Senior Loan Officer Full-time Remote (U.S.) Reports to CRO Why Flipside, Why Now? Flipside Lending is rewriting the playbook for private real-estate financing. The Opportunity Flipside Lending is expanding its sales team to accelerate our growth. Were looking for motivated and results-driven loan originators to join our team and help drive new business. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, cultivating, and converting leads into funded loans while delivering exceptional service to our clients. You will also have a highly effective marketing machine behind you supporting the efforts of lead generation and pipeline management. Along with a very experienced world class operations team for processing, underwriting and deal support. As part of a collaborative and high-energy team, youll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Flipside Lending by building meaningful relationships with real estate investors, brokers, and other industry stakeholders. Core Responsibilities Originate and Close: Source and qualify investor, broker, and builder leads through outbound calling, email, social channels, events, and referrals. Structure terms across Fix & Flip, Bridge, Ground-Up, Rental/DSCR, and Multifamily programs, matching client goals to Flipsides credit box. Shepherd deals from application through funding, coordinating with underwriting, processing, and draw management to ensure a friction-free borrower experience. Pipeline Management: Maintain a 90-day funnel in Salesforce and attend weekly production forecasts and present your funnel. Execute disciplined follow-up cadences (calls, SMS, email, LinkedIn) to hit daily and weekly activity KPIs. Market Intelligence and Product Feedback: Track competitor pricing, leverage, and turn times; surface insights that influence pricing and program tweaks. Deliver voice of the customer feedback to marketing and leadership on messaging, collateral, and new-product ideas. Relationship Expansion: Build channel partnerships with real-estate brokers, wholesalers, contractors, and title/escrow teams to generate repeat deal flow. Must-Have Experience and Skills Four or more years originating private-money, hard-money, or DSCR/rental loans, with comfort structuring 14 unit, small-balance multifamily, and bridge transactions. Documented track record of $80 million-plus annual funded volume or six or more $1million loans per month. Working knowledge of rehab budgets, ARV analysis, LTC/LTV/LTV-as-completed calculations, and draw processes. Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) Proficiency working with Microsoft Excel Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex terms into plain language for investors. FINRA/NMLS or state MLO license is a plus (or willingness to obtain.) Consultative Curiosity: You probe for exit strategies and timelines before quoting leverage. Financial Acumen: You quickly spot that 82 percent LTC exceeds program max and restructure the deal on the fly. Sense of Urgency: You push to make sure submission files are complete so operations and underwriting work clean file and meet borrower timelines. Collaboration: Operations teams say you submit clean files and pre-educate clients, making everyones job easier.
