A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support K-12 students in an educational setting located in Moorefield, WV. This full-semester contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by facilitating communication and enhancing learning experiences for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing accurate and effective sign language interpretation during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to ensure clear communication and support student achievement
• Assisting with maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Adapting interpretation services to meet the diverse needs of students and the educational environment

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and experience as a Sign Language Interpreter
• Knowledge of educational terminology and K-12 classroom settings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
