Owner Operator-Class A at Clean Harbors summary:

The Owner Operator-Class A is responsible for safely operating tractor trailer units to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste primarily on long-haul routes in the Northeast to Cincinnati area. This role emphasizes strict adherence to health and safety protocols, proper load securing, and compliance with DOT regulations, while maintaining required logs and reports. Compensation includes mileage and hourly demurrage pay with bi-weekly home time, offering an average annual income of $200K-$250K.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team! This route runs from  the Northeast to Cincinnati, OH and averages 2600-2800 miles per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• 12+ months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
